DONOR BENEFITS

This scheme has the double benefit of funding the Wildlife Care Badge & UK Wildlife Transporters so that they can make sure that every wildlife casualty/orphan in the UK always gets the medical & rehabilitative care that they need AND it funds the wilding up of our UK spaces: enabling environments that support wildlife to thrive.
[Once a month you can apply to be granted some funding from the 'Wild Money Pot' to fund those larger ‘wilding’ ventures - here's some home/garden ideas - to support wildlife & plant life at home or at work.]

HOW DOES IT WORK?
A. You choose to donate whatever you’d like, every month. (It's NOT a monthly rolling contract, every new month you can decide if what want to be part of the ‘Wild Money Pot’ scheme that month).
- 70% of your donation helps us to fund staff for our ‘Wildlife Care Effort’ and 30% goes into the Wild Money Pot.
- EVERY MONTH the Pot is is either given in its entirety to one lucky Donor OR it is split between a number of Donors (depending on how much is in the Pot).
B. To apply for the pot, you just fill in this APPLICATION FORM before midnight on the 26th of every new month, explaining how you would use the prize money to help your local wildlife by ‘wilding up’ your exterior home & work spaces.
C. You all vote - All applications are published in a newsletter on the 28th of each month for you (the community of Donors) to vote on who should win that month.
D. Winners are announced at 13:00 on the 1st of each month. Winners will receive the funds through bank transfer by midnight on 1st of each month.

HOW IS THE MONEY POT SHARED OUT AMONGST FUNDING APPLICATIONS?

-
If there’s up to £500 in the Pot: the full amount goes to the most voted for Donor application (or, if no Donor application for funding requires the full amount in the pot, it will be split between the 2 most popular grant applications. If there is any money leftover, it will roll onto the next month's Pot total).

-
If there’s up to £1000 in the Pot: £500 goes to the most voted for Donor application & the rest is split between the next most popular funding applications for them to put towards their goals to supplement the cost.

-
If there’s up to £1500 in the Pot: £750 goes to the most voted for Donor application, £250 goes to the next most voted for funding application & the rest is split between the next most popular funding applications for them to put towards their goals to supplement the cost.

-
If there’s up to £2000 in the Pot: £750 goes to the most voted for Donor application, £500 & £250 goes to the next most voted for funding applications & the rest is split between the next most popular funding applications for them to put towards their goals to supplement the cost.

-
If there’s up to £3000 in the Pot: £1000 each goes to the 2 most voted for Donor application, £500 goes to the next most voted for funding applications & the rest is split between the next most popular funding applications for them to put towards their goals to supplement the cost.

[When we have more than £3000 in the pot I will send around a survey asking all of the Donors how they would like it to be split.]
ADDITIONAL DONOR BENEFIT: At 20:30 on the first Monday evening of every month there’s an optional free ‘Wild Ideas’ zoom meeting for Donors, to share ideas and get advice on how to wild up the spaces (residential & work) that they have access to & how to empower local wildlife.
